Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)

Want to see the works of Van Gogh, Warhol and Monet? Those are just some of the big names you will see at the Museum of Modern Art. This wonder was established in 1929 by some of the times most leading ladies including Abby Aldrich Rockefeller and Lillie P. Bliss to name a few.

MoMA exhibits every kind of modern and contemporary art from paintings and sculptures to electronic media and film. The museum was closed for renovations in 2002, but reopened in 2004 with a new look that played a big part in increasing the museums visitors from1.5 to 2.5 million annually.
