This 12 acre island is located in the New York Harbor and home to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, which once housed the Federal Immigration Station.

The Ellis Island museum houses everything from historic medical records to the Wall of Honor, which is dedicated to the 12 million immigrants that came to America to embrace the new world. The Wall of Honor has been inscribed with over 700,000 names and counting. In fact, you can still have your ancestors names etched into the wall today.
