Central Park Zoo Hotels

New York City’s zoo is located in Central Park and accommodates over 130 species of wildlife. A baby bear cub and a group of swans started the menagerie and it grew until the 1980’s when the city of New York took over and began construction on the latest facility. Construction was completed in 1988 and now the zoo attracts over 1 million visitors annually.

The climate at the zoo changes from a tropical rainforest to the chilly artic. You can gaze upon creatures from far away lands like southern China’s Red Panda or the Madagascar Tree Boa.
